Training Center Student Check-In Policy Types of Registration
  • Training Center Registration (Addis, Baton Rouge, Gonzales)

    • Site Orientations and Basic Safety (12BR and 12BR1) are not delivered over the internet
    • Only Approved training for your business will be delivered via the web
    • Select courses are available for all businesses

    • Custom training curriculums can be created for your business
    • Training is on-demand (pre-registration is not required). Your company will not be billed until the individual has recieved a final exam score
    • Payment can be paid by an invoice(Please call our Accounting Department) or payment can be made by a credit card.
    • How do my employees login? All your employees will use a common username and password in addition to a unique reference to indentify the individual as an employee of your company. Once the individual has logged into the system. He will be presented with the training classes which have been approved for your company's training curriculum. The individual's completion status for each module will be shown next to each course listing. Training administrator's also have the ability to view all of a company's employees training history for 1 or more training classes through a separate reporting interface.

Guidelines for Individuals Checking into Class
    ***these policies do not apply to individuals attending online training ***
    1. Please show up at the the training center 30-60 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
    2. You may pay by cash, credit cards or money orders. Personal checks are NOT accepted. Payment must be made prior to attending the training.
    3. You must have proper Indentification when checking into class. If you do not have a valid Driver's License or State I.D. you must have two of the following:

    *** 2 forms of identification is required to enter into class ***

    - Federal Identification Card
    - INS ID Card issued by federal, state, or local gov. agencies
    - Valid Passport
    - School I.D. with Photo
    - Voter's Registration card (along with a Photo I.D.)
    - U.S. Military Card
    - Military Dependent's I.D. card
    - U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Card
    - Native American Tribal Document
    - Canadian Driver's License


Online Registration more information
    Use Online Registration,to schedule or cancel your employees for the Basic Orientation Plus course (12BR) or Basic Orientation Plus Refresher course (12BR1) until 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class time and date. Online registration is open to individuals and companies. For Companies, an online account grants you access to verifying your employees' training and expiration reports. Should you need assistance, or if you would like to schedule a demonstration, please call us at 225-766-0955.

    To Schedule for Site Orientations (EXXON, MARATHON, DOW, etc...) you will need to select the appropriate checkbox to open a business account during the online account creation process. Both types of online accounts are free of charge (Both Individual and business accounts are free of charge).

    This account will also allow you to cancel student registrations up to 10 minutes before training starts. HAZWOPER and COSS trainign are exceptions to this cancellation policy include. These two training classes may require up to 1 week notice before cancelling the training and a cancellation fee may be applied.
Guidelines for Contractor who choose to use the more expensive Fax Registration System
    yes, class registration costs more when you use the fax registration system.
    yes, you should use online registration if you want immediate confirmation.

    2. Fax to 225-766-1029, before 3:p.m. (M-F)

    3. Confirmations will not be sent back. If you want a confirmation, you have to create a online business account. (All day/Anytime) Click here to create Account

    4. *** THIS PROCESS IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR QUICK RESPONSES. The Online Training Center registration process should be used if you want immediate confirmations and if you want to save money.

Guidelines for individuals who wish to register themselves
    1. To register for class you must pre-pay (in person) or we recommend registering for class using this website.

    If you choose not to use or website to register for class and choose to register in-person at one of our training centers please see below.
      Baton Rouge - 8180 Siegen Lane, 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

      Addis - 7640 La Hwy 1 S., 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

      Gonzales - 2612 S. Ruby Street, 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

    2. You may pay by cash, credit cards or money orders. Personal checks are NOT accepted.

    3. Classes are also held the 2nd, 3rd 4th Saturday of each month at the Baton Rouge Location.

    4. You must have proper I.D. (click here to view possible identification accepted ).
