TWIC Enrollment Now Available in the Baton Rouge
In an effort to be a "one-stop-shop" for our members, the Safety Council has leased space to Lockheed Martin for the Baton Rouge Transportation
Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) enrollment center. The office, located at 8180 Siegen Lane, opened to the public on November 7, 2007. Effective immediately,
Baton Rouge area workers can begin pre-enrollment and appointment scheduling for
TWIC online at https://twicprogram.tsa.dhs.gov/TWICWebApp/.

am. - 6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday; and the second and fourth Saturday of every month
from 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Safety Council Vice President of Operations, Bill Dufrene
says, “We strongly encourage our members to avoid long lines and save time by pre-enrolling
and scheduling appointments online.” The TWIC card is required for all personnel
needing unescorted access to secure areas of Maritime Transportation Security Act
(MTSA) regulated facilities and/or vessels and all mariners holding Coast Guard
issued credentials or qualification documents.
