Top Honors Go To C-K Associates

The smell of barbeque filled the air at Lamar Dixon, the headquarters for the Safety Council’s 1st Annual Barbeque Cook-off. Chicken, ribs and brisket were on the menu as member companies competed for the title.

Special thanks to our event sponsors Scott Ard Safety Consultants, Cajun Industries, Cofab, C-K Associates, Fugro Consultants, Gilbane Inc., Guy’s Towing, Industrial Design & Construction Inc., JV Industrial Companies, Team Services and URS Corporation.

The 1st Place overall winners were Wayne Abshire and Butch Burton from C-K Associates. Wayne and Butch took away trophies in three out of four of the categories. Congratulations also goes out to 2nd place overall winner Brian Lipps from Cofab and 3rd place overall winners Eric Lemoine & Carl Tyson from JV Industrial. The winners of the individual categories were as follows:
