Meet OSHA's New Area Director |

| A familiar face is taking the reins of the Baton Rouge Area Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) office. Former Assistant Director,
Dorinda Folse, has been appointed the new Area Director. |

“As a long-time resident of Louisiana, I am thrilled to be the new Area Director
in OSHA's Baton Rouge area office,” said Folse. “It is both an honor and
privilege to serve the employers, employees and other stakeholders in the state
as we strive to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all workers." Folse was
previously one of two Assistant Area Directors in OSHA's Baton Rouge office. She
is a native of Alabama and a 1986 graduate of the University of Southern
Mississippi. She began working as an Industrial Hygienist Compliance Officer for
OSHA in 1991 and then served as the office's Compliance Assistance Specialist
from 2003 until February of 2007. |
