Celebrate A Future of Possibilities

Purpose, progress, and possibilities…the Safety Council has brought all of these to our members over the past 50 years. Celebrate the future of training at our 50th Anniversary Gala & Awards Ceremony on April 5, 2008. Experience a safety evolution as we rock from 1958 to the next generation of training and beyond. This fast-paced evening will move you from the edge of your seat, up to your feet, dancing to the musical melodies of our live entertainment, Stormy.

Our dedicated board of directors guides our staff by offering unique perspectives to the challenges our members face. “Our future is exciting,” said Keith Sliman, Safety Council Chairman of the Board and Safety/Security Director at Ford, Bacon and Davis. “We are the architects for the future of safety education and training. We want all of our members to share in this incredible evening. You have to see the 3-D technology that will transform training. It will be a night you will tell people about.”
Fine food and the fabulous sounds are on the agenda along with our annual safety and heroism awards presentation. You will not want to miss our own version of Dancing With the Stars! The historic Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center is the place to be on Saturday, April 5th as we pay tribute to our purpose, progress and possibilities.
