New Faces at the Safety Council
David Grier, Safety Council
Gretchen LeBlanc, Dow
Tobie Craig, Turner Industries
The Safety Council of the Louisiana Capital Area is pleased to announce the appointment of David B. Grier as Vice President of Strategic Business Development. David was formerly VP of Life Success Publishing and Corporate Liaison Director for the University of Phoenix. David is eager to meet with our membership. If you any ideas regarding ways the Safety Council can assist your company with its needs please email David at dgrier@safetylca.org.
The Safety Council also welcomes two interim board members, Gretchen LeBlanc and Tobie Craig.
Gretchen comes to us from The Dow Chemical Company where she has worked for the past 27 years and was recently named Site Responsible Care® Leader for the Louisiana Operations.
Tobie is currently the Marketing Director of Turner Industries
where she coordinates business development resources among Turner’s industrial service divisions. Tobie also serves on the boards of the Capital Area United Way
and the Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance. Gretchen and
Tobie will appear on the ballot and be officially voted in by Safety Council membership
during the 50th Anniversary Gala on April 5th, 2008.
