Recognitions Awarded for Achievements in Safety & Health

| A distinguished group of safety and health professionals received high honors at the 1st Louisiana Governor’s Safety & Health Conference. In conjunction with the conference, the Lifetime Achievement in Safety & Health Luncheon was held on October 27th, at the River Center, in Baton Rouge. |
Honorees include Lifetime Achievement in Safety winners Don Jones, Comprehensive Safety Solutions and
Floyd Daniel, Industrial Specialty Contractors; Distinguished Achievement in Health winner
Karen Ahmad, Our Lady of the Lake; and, Distinguished Achievement in Safety winners,
Eric Bertolet, TopCor Companies and Dr. Michael Harris, Hamlin & Harris.

Over 250 attendees took away applied best practices, earned continuing education units (CEUs), and had a first-hand look at 40 safety and health booths exhibiting the latest tools for advancing safety, security, emergency preparedness, health and wellness.
