Safety Council Sponsors Session on Preventing Accidents and Reducing Costs
|
 |
| Register today to learn how to prevent accidents while reducing costs during a one-day workshop at Louisiana State University (LSU) sponsored in part by the Safety Council of Louisiana Capital Area. The workshop will focus on the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Pre-Task Hazard Analysis (THA). While these two items are powerful accident prevention tools, they are often misunderstood and misused, yielding a poor return on investment. |
Upon completion of the workshop, you will be able to: -
Describe various methods of performing a JSA and the benefits of each
- Explain hazard recognition and control techniques
- Perform and document a JSA and a THA
- Demonstrate how to use a completed JSA as part of the training process
- Teach others how to perform a JSA and THA
- Implement a JSA/THA program at the worksite
