Pediatric First Aid/CPR Course Available at the Safety Council |

| The American Heart Association’s
Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid Course is designed to meet the regulatory and
credentialed training requirements for child care workers in all 50 states. The
course will be held at the Safety Council’s Siegen Lane Training Center on
Saturday, May 8, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. |

The course provides training for those who have a duty to respond to first aid
emergencies, such as child care workers, parents, teachers, foster care workers,
camp counselors, youth groups, coaches for sports organizations and others.
Participants will learn how to manage illnesses and injuries in an adult, child
or infant during the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
The course content covers: first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury
emergencies, environmental emergencies, Adult/Child CPR & AED and Infant CPR.
Each student will receive a Student Workbook with a CD-ROM that includes several
additional pediatric first aid topics.
