OSHA Revises the VPP Program

Is your company in the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) or interested in qualifying for the VPP? Revisions to VPP, taking effect on May 9, 2009, may affect you. Learn more about these revisions at a 6-hour workshop led by Don Jones CSP, PE, at the Safety Council’s Baton Rouge Training Center, on April 23.


Don has been actively involved with OSHA, the VPP and the VPP Participants’ Association (VPPPA) at a local, regional and national level for the past 20+ years. Don has also been active in the VPP as a mentor, trainer and Special Government Employee (SGE). He has received the prestigious VPPPA National Safety and Health Outreach Award and was also the recipient of the SGE of the Year Award for OSHA Region VI.
