VPP Annual Self Evaluation Workshop in Baton Rouge |

| Is your company an OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) site? If so, you must submit your self evaluation by February 15, 2009. To assist you with that process, we are sponsoring a workshop to help you understand the steps necessary to effectively and efficiently conduct this required paperwork. |
This 6-hour class will take place at the Safety Council’s Baton Rouge training center, on January 8; and, will be presented by Don Jones. Don has been actively involved with OSHA, the VPP and the
VPP Participants’ Association (VPPPA) at a local, regional and national level for the past 20+ years. Don has also been active in VPP as a mentor, trainer and Special Government Employee (SGE). One of the highlights of Don's career is working with the government of Ireland to establish a VPP in their country. Don is also former president of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
The workshop will be focused on the OSHA Region VI VPP annual self-evaluation but the principles learned will apply to all. |

- Site employees involved in conducting, preparing and submitting the VPP Annual Self-Evaluation
The cost for the workshop, including lunch, is $199 with a $10 discount for Safety Council members.
